Long time

Okay so some of you may have thgouht is she still alive and the answer is YES. :) Barely alive. hehehe with the amount of injuries I have gotten. Firstly falling down a flight of stairs head first, I still have the bump to prove it and then I swear I have a broken rib right now caus ei can't run and then I have sweat rash, which I have cleared up. yay one down 20 to go.

SO anyway camp is getting tiring only becasue we have now been here for nearly 3 months. I know I can't believe it only 26 more days to go and then I am heading of to NYC , Miami and then back to the West Coast. I can't wait. Esp to get out of camp.

So not much has been happening I am going to boston on my next off day which should be good. I feel as though I am going to get in touch with my Irish heritage. To be sure , to be sure. Also I will be semi close to Hartford , some of you will understand.

What else can I mention hmmmm. I can' wait to show everyone som eof the films I have made ov erhere. I am about to leave for the Film festival we hold here. Really exciting....

Celeb kid update. We have Paul Simon's son and Magic Johnson kids. :-) I am sure there are plenty more I just can't be bothered anymore u see one u see them all , they are all really cool kids.

Howdi all,

So time for update. This week has been a bit hard becasue of the change over of kids but I am starting to get used to everything which is great. The new bunk is cool they are all incredibly different from one another and which is cool. There is also ten of them so it is a lot harder to keep track especially the non english speakign ones. So today is lazy day where the other councelors go off and have fun and I look after the girls, yeah I am goign to make a great mother I now it . Well my nick name around the camp is mum and big sister. I know everyone must be in shock right now. ehhehehe

So anyway last night was exciting we one clean bunk award and got taken to dinner and a movie which was soo good. You really do saviour the time out of camp. We saw Ratatouie I don't know how it is spelt but yeah it is pretty goood.

So not much has been happening just very busy with teaching and filming. I swear I am coming back to teh US next year and starting my career I have learnt so much from being in the video department. Put a huge performance in front of me and I can actually film pretty well. Okay moving on.

I will do an interesting post soon , but now I am just chilling out and about to hit the water front. YAY

so anyway hope everyone is well email me uy know u want to. I have photos on my facebook which I will post on here soon. I lied I will do it now.

Summer Loving

okay I will update this properly because I have had a few emails about whether or not I am still doing this. I just hadn't had time to do blogs but now I do because they have given us back our internet privalages. :) :) Yata.

So I will be starting from the beginning, for those who I may have forgotten to email.

The drive out to Hancock was long and tiring. We arrived at camp to find we were literally living in a dump, like big time. The rooms had mice and squirall, chipmunks running around them and there was all this rubbish lying around and other goodies I will not disclose the identity of. ;) ;). The bathroom was dodgy and me being brave some how made it through. Stephy J and Young one remember Rodger the rat. Well this was ten times worse. The toilets still smell like Urine and I don';t think it is going to leave ever, but after days of cleaning we managed to make it our home. I had 3 other roomies. Ally, Mandi and Hayley. Ally and Mandi are aussie east coasters and Hayley is from UK well I though Scotland and boy did I cop it , well I still am. Hayley had to leave us in the first few days she is just down the road so I still see her everyday and give her a hug everyday. OH I luv this west coast sunshine. okay random but I have the radio on awesome indie music. :)

So yeah we had a week of orientation wohooo. TYou know the talks and all. oh wait I forgot to mention...

Ash is back in Australia she went back home in the first few days. So you can ask her questions about camp. Unfortunately she didn't stay to see that the camp is actualluy one of the best palces to be. :) Sure you can't shave your legs in the shower , but if I can't do it then I know that there are at least 100 others who are having the same problem. ehehhehe Go the 60's

So our campers I wrote about previously, I honestly love them heaps, I try to make them cover up when thety are wearing things revealing I put curtains up for them on the window, cause one was sacared someone would peep through during the night. Don't worry I am not gettting clucky ... maybe jking.

So there aren't that m,any cute guys around camp , but you know what there are lovely people. Everyone knows everyone which works well but you know small town syndrome has begun to kick in. So funny the hot hot guy is named Hector he is from africa and when he walks past you just see all the girls turn and look at him. We had the Dating game as evening activity last night and Ally went up to compete and yes Hector was the guy she was competing for. heheh we were all jealous and she won and he kissed her on the hand. . Damn her Still jealous. :(

So Camp is sooooo much fun . We do have celebritiy kids here but yeah I won't say anymore, cause i just don't want to post it on my public blog. :)

I am so going to the country club tonight and getting drunk... oh yeah

Summer Camp Wohoooo

Hey all,

It has been a while since the last post and a lot has happened. So the camp has finally grown on me. I feel as though I am changing into a more responsible person. I luv the kids I am teaching and looking after. They are all so talented and I am learening so much from them.

The camp itself is loooking good. It is feeling like a home to me, where today I thought that I really don't want to go home. THe camp is still reminding me of Dirty Dancing. I will post some pictures soon when I upload some in the video room. If it ever gets finished.

My friends at camp are amazing. There are just so many personalites which are so easy to get a long with. I luv them all. WE have mini dance parties getting high on lollies and water. Hence the alcohol ban in camp. But hey it works. It is weird They feed the kids sugary goodness and sweets at around 9 pm at canteen and then send them nack to the bunk. The thing is we have the sugar too and are also hyper active till htis time of night.

It was Brillant ( my new englishg word) the other night we had night time activity and the whole camp was in the cafateria singing theatrical songs. Honestly the place wa srocking out. Imagine the most american situation of kids happy singing and dancing on the tables. It was Brillant. Like honestly somethintg I won't forget.

Anyway quick update cause it is 1 am in the morning and my campers are a sleep while a few of us are gossiping on the porch.heheh Hicksville. If anyonw has th eoppurtunity to do camps do it. I am having the best time of my life. I am actually learning musical songs ./ I want to see wiked, my friend tom does the best impersonation........

Start Spreading the News

Hey all,

So we flew into New York about 4 hours ago. The flight was so quick I was seated next to this guy named John. he was so nice we spent half of the trip talking about everything, NY, Aus, Celebs and Bush. hehehehe. he even did the very American thing and showed me his 2 daughters photos. :) He was hitting the Vodka at 9 am and tried to entice me, I told him I might be australian but hitting the hard stuff this early in the mornign just isn't good.

So the shuttle to our Hostel took about 2 hrs the traffic was banked right back. I have never stayed in a hostel before and it is definatelly different I don't think I will do it again. Is that bad to say. We are staying at HI New York and it is huge. One of the biggest youth hostels in NY. SO it is pretty busy. After camp I am def going to hotel it or hopefullly make friends who will invite me to stayt at there place.

NY what can I say it is definately a city which I will need to grow to like. It is bloody hot like Bali and a lil hard to breath. We just had dinner at this diner which was pretty awesome go the BLT. NY is exactly how I expected incrediblly busy, sky scrapers and Dirty !! I am kinda missing L.A at the moment. I am now going to call it my 2nd home. :)

I can't wait for tommorrow , as we are heading to camp. I am going to turn into Japanese tourist mode and take a heap of pictures and post online. Also hopefully post some videos in the next week.

So anyway I will talk about the last LA day. We went to The Grove it is this awesome outdoors mall. The hills fans will remmeber it. The shops a re a lil pricey but it more just for show. Across the block in the Farmers Market which is a palce where you can grab food to eat. It is kind of like Shangers but 4 times larger. Celebrity front Ash saw Isla fisher and I saw the behind of her. hehehe yeah my periferal ( is that how u spell it ) vision is pretty bad . Sure she is an Aussie but hey she is still a celeb ( who visited the tearooms around 10 years ago, there is a bit of trivia. hahah)

Anyway I will properly update soon. I hope everyone is going good back home sorry about the lack of personal emails it's just that I haven't had time.

So anyway as you all know cause I keep goign on about it. We went to warner bros studio and we went on the set of Gilmore Girls. YAY I went a lil crazy in the WB shop. OOpps. But yeah today was tiring , like very tiring. So tonight I am recovering from major sunburn my nose is bright red. :-) Getting excited for camp but sad cause the holiday period will be over and Camp Counsellor Lavina will be out in force. Scary thought. So only a quick update I will talk more tomorrow. Hopefully we will go to a gig.

The first day we were here we went for a walk down the street. We are staying in Culver City. SO we get out of the hotel and down in the car lot is this blonde girl with a photographer she was like in her underwear. We were liek what the . So later on in the day we see her again by the pool takign more shots. So I talked to Rachel and she told em that Culver City is where all of the porn videos get shot. hahahahah very skanky. But our hotel is really nice it isn't a DCW hangout. :-) To add to this I was talking to a girl before and she said she went into the toilets int he lobby at 10:30 and she heard noises from one of the cubicles you know what I mean ;) ;) so gross

Hey all,

I am writing to you from sunny LA. Well I lied because it really isn't sunny all day. It is really cloudy in the mornings and then at 12 it gets hot, like real hot. Both ash and I have bright red noses. :) Anyway, the plane trip over sucked big time so long and jam packed but I am finally ove rthe jet lag. :)

So the first day we just did orientation and met a heap of people, which was great as we went out places with them, but as a new day comes so do the people so we are already saying the goodbyes to people we have met.

Anyway the next day we went to Hollywood. It was memorial day weekend, ( anzac day) so it was sooooo busy. The trip in was quite long, longer then I imagined. It is quite funny LA is so spread out there are so many similarities to Perth it is strange even Gum trees. I really do feel as though I am back home. So yeah Hollywood , we saw the Kodak Theatre and then went to the Wax museum which was fun,m but creepy think House of Wax they looked as though they were about to jump out at u. Especially samuel L jackson. " shiveer " After we went on our Star Tour. Which was a waste of money , but hey we pimped it up in a hummer. oh yeah. We saw a heap of celeb homes/fences and the playboy mansion. We saw the spelling mansion and maddona and tom cruises house. and many more i can't remember at the moment. Best of all we saw where Lohan crashed her car. I wass tempted to get a piece of the tree and sell it on ebay , jking... We went to rodeo drive which was so pretty , but not really that much to see. After the tour we went and did more museum things. Was jam packed. We were buggered by around 3 so we went abck to the hotel.

So today we went to Santa Monica . OMG I want to live there like majorly . It is beautiful minus the bums and hobos. It is so casual and the shopping is awesome I went a lil wild in GAP and hel;d myself back in Old Navy. I had my first legal age beer over here and both times I didn't get asked for ID I guess I really do look 34 hahaha.
So we still haven't gotten used toi tipping it sucks, so does the tax . This is the only time I will say this but I really do appreciate the GST .a rgh why oh why did I say that.

Anyway we have as few days left so we will cram as much as we can into those. The off to the Big apple. I am getting nervous about camp ... I also think it is the fact I don't want to leave LA. .

So I will update this more soon.

p.s The food here is bad I feel like Tina you fat lard. I am over it already I just want a small portion of something. :)

Okay as I write this there is only 12 hours until we board the plane on route to LA via Sydney. I can't believe that the trip is already here. ;)

The First one

Hello all,

This is my introductory post. This blog is a place where you can keep up to date on my travel. I will try and update it as often as I can. I will also be uploading video posts, so check them out when I do.

I am starting to get really excited now, this trip is going to be life changing I can feel it. People are probably getting really sick of me talking about my holiday but too bad. :) jking. I promise this trip won't be too much like Wild on Tara, if it was I would probably be exported home due too alcohol poisioning or an unexpected pregnancy could be on hand and nobody wants that.

Anyway I though I would just post this and hopefully will see you all before I go.
